Personal Development Plan
We all fall victim to the "daily grind", but what ever happened to being the "master of your own destiny". How many people have a Personal Development Plan that ensures personal accountability will drive success? I am always amazed that people can complain and find fault in other people, departments, systems, bosses, etc...but never own anything that they can do to make themselves better. Why is that? I think we all know the answer, but the real questions are: . How do you change your mindset to make sure you positive? . How do you keep yourself on track to maximize your success? . How do you create a personal development plan and stick to it? The choices you make to better yourself is your professional development plan to become best you can! You decide what you do, when you do it, how you do it, and what you intend to get from the efforts, activities, drive, or focus. I recently sat through a lecture from a representative from Spencer Johnson Partners that was reviewing the "Who Moved My Cheese" concepts. I loved the simplicity and effectiveness of the training. It is one of the many tools available for people to find ways to take action and help them achieve their objectives. Everyone needs to learn, grow, develop, and improve to achieve success, be truly happy, or reach their personal and professional goals. I have been fortunate to work with, trained by, and coached by many amazing leaders, professors, lectures, and sales professionals. Whether it is reading a book, continuing your education, or working with the "right" people, find areas that you want to improve (or refresh) your skills. Look for ways to become your very best!
